A Milestone, of Sorts
It's been a long couple of months without any substantive Volvo-related work being done--too much other stuff to do, what with school and work and church things, all going on simultaneously.
HOWEVER, despite the lack of renovations, one thing continues--the ol' mileage. Although Järn was purchased a year ago with the intent of using it as an occasional conveyance, eventually it got to be a daily driver, and despite being a bit slow, it has never failed to get me back and forth to work (except for that one unfortunate morning when the fuel injection blade fuse was wet).
And so, it has now accumulated miles to the point that yesterday, April 12, at approximately 5:30 pm while on the way home from work, the odometer passed the magical 222,222 mile mark.
I could kick myself for not having thought to bring my camera!
In any event, I look forward to another 222,222 miles.
