Now that's something you're probably not going to read every day...
Volvo thug in horror attack
It's a terrible thing for the victim, obviously, but the way in which the words "thug" and "Volvo" are used in the report are worthy of a Monty Python bit. As was the line about "seriously assaulted."

It's easier for the police to chase the thug when the getaway car takes thirty minutes to warm up to a fast clip.
I guess Volvos aren't that common in Scotland?
Too expensive, maybe? Meow!
Careful, now--you'll have an angry mob of Volvo drivers flinging haggis at you!
Ooooh ick. Have you ever tried haggis? Don't bother.
But I do love the Scottish countryside.
BTW, now that I know the reason for entering those silly letters, I don't mind at all. I had several other websites that were doing it and was irritated but now I think it is a good idea. Anything to avoid spam.
No, can't say as I've had the pleasure of haggissing, but I'm certain oatmeal and meat boiled in a stomach would be quite tasty.
And I'm sorry about the code letters--I dislike them, too, and I have to enter them if I want to comment, just like anyone else. But they have cured the spamitosis.
I wouldn't have done it, but it's terribly inconvenient to delete Blogger comments.
